AMI Group, Inc., (AMI) is a not-for-profit,  501(c)3, faith-based organization principally formed to provide comprehensive social services for the communities it serves in Alabama. These services includes child care, adult day care, a vibrant homeless prevention program, and providing capacity building training and technical assistance to other nonprofit organizations. The AMI service area currently includes North Central Alabama (Jefferson County) and surrounding counties, including the part of the Alabama Black Belt region.  Founded in February 2016 as a faith-based nonprofit organization, the core mission of AMI is to improve the quality of life of low income families in the communities it serves. This mission is achieved through the provision of superior client services and implementing innovative approaches in service delivery. The AMI Board of Directors is currently engaged in securing local, state, and federal funding to support its mission and programs.
